HI FELLOW ELITISTS 🤍
And just like that, we're into November!
Halloween has been and gone, half term is over, and I think we're all slowly finding our way back into our usual routines.
There's something about this time of year that makes me want to press reset. The evenings are getting darker, Diwali and Christmas are creeping closer, and before the end-of-year madness begins, it's a good opportunity to take a little time for ourselves.
This month's Edit is all about getting back into those routines, looking after your skin and making a little space for the things that make you feel good.
So grab a cuppa, get comfortable and enjoy this month's read.

THE NOVEMBER EDIT:
Let's talk about your skin barrier.
As the weather gets colder and the heating goes on, you might notice your skin behaving a little differently. Perhaps it's feeling tighter, looking a little duller or becoming more sensitive than usual.
Before you start buying lots of new products, there's something worth looking at first: your skin barrier.
So, what exactly is your skin barrier?
Think of your skin barrier as your skin's protective outer layer. Its job is to help keep moisture in and protect your skin from external irritants.
When it's working well, your skin is generally better able to maintain hydration and protect itself. When it's compromised, you may notice dryness, tightness, flaking, redness or increased sensitivity.
Why can winter affect it?
Cold weather, wind, low humidity and indoor heating can all contribute to moisture loss and leave skin feeling drier.
It's not necessarily that your skin needs a completely new routine. Sometimes, it just needs a little more support.
4 WAYS TO LOOK AFTER YOUR SKIN BARRIER
When should you seek professional advice?
If your skin is persistently irritated, uncomfortable or unusually sensitive, it's worth getting advice rather than continuing to experiment with products.
At Elite, we believe in understanding your skin before recommending treatments. Sometimes the best approach isn't adding another treatment or product; it's giving your skin the support it needs.
Remember: healthy-looking skin starts with looking after the basics.
YOUR SKIN'S WINTER SURVIVAL GUIDE.
1. Keep your routine simple
This isn't the time to introduce lots of new active ingredients all at once. Stick to products your skin tolerates and avoid overcomplicating things.
2. Don't over-exfoliate
Exfoliation can have a place in a skincare routine, but too much can leave skin feeling irritated. If your skin is already feeling sensitive, consider scaling back and seeking professional advice.
3. Moisturise consistently
A good moisturiser can help support your skin barrier and reduce moisture loss. Look for ingredients such as ceramides, glycerin and hyaluronic acid.
4. Don't forget your SPF
Yes, even in winter! UVA exposure doesn't disappear when the sunshine does. Daily broad-spectrum SPF remains an important part of your skincare routine.
REAL RESULTS:
NECK LASER HAIR REMOVAL.
Four sessions. Five months. A visible difference.
Unwanted hair around the chin and neck can be frustrating, particularly when you're constantly having to shave or manage regrowth.
This client has completed four laser hair removal sessions over five months, and we're sharing a look at their progress.
The before-and-after images show a noticeable reduction in visible hair, leaving the skin looking smoother and clearer.
Laser hair removal works progressively, with multiple sessions needed to target hair during its growth cycle. Results vary from person to person, but consistency and a personalised treatment plan are key.
Four sessions in, and the transformation speaks for itself.

INSIDE ELITE:
LIFE BEHIND THE SCENES.
A SPECIAL FIRST FOR BABITA
This year was a special one for Babita as she celebrated her very first Karwa Chauth!
For those who may not be familiar, Karwa Chauth is a traditional Hindu festival observed by many married women, involving a day of fasting and prayers for the wellbeing and longevity of their husbands.
It's a day filled with tradition, family, beautiful outfits and meaningful rituals.
We love getting little glimpses into our team's lives outside the salon, and celebrating the special moments that matter to them.
A little first, and a lovely moment to share with our Elite family. ❤️
THE BEAUTY EDIT:
SYLWIA'S EDIT.
WAKE UP WITH YOUR BROWS ALREADY DONE.
Tired of filling in your brows every morning? Semi-permanent powder brows could be worth exploring.
This technique creates a soft, powdered makeup effect, helping give your brows more definition without reaching for your pencil every day.
With results that can last for years, depending on your skin, lifestyle and aftercare, it's a lovely option for anyone looking to simplify their beauty routine.
Less time filling. More time getting ready.
ASK ALEXANDRA.
MEET MESOTEN EYES
The delicate skin around our eyes is often one of the first areas where we notice changes in our skin.
Alexandra is introducing us to MESOTEN Eyes, a professional product specially formulated for the eye area.
Formulated with ingredients including PDRN, peptides, hyaluronic acid and niacinamide, it is designed to hydrate and support the appearance of smoother, firmer and brighter-looking skin.
It's designed to help with the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, dark circles, uneven-looking skin tone, hydration, texture, elasticity, firmness and radiance.
A little extra attention for the area that deserves it.
CELEBRATING FRIENDSHIP & BIG DREAMS.
SHIVANI’S EDIT:
One of my personal highlights recently was attending my girl Jemini's Diwali event. 🪔
First of all, can we take a moment for this girl?!
Not only did she host such a beautiful event, but she went above and beyond with every little detail. Watching an idea that once started as a vision turn into a real-life event was so special, and I genuinely couldn't be prouder of her.
There's something I find so inspiring about watching women bring their ideas to life. The planning, the hard work, the courage to put yourself out there and the love that goes into creating something of your own.
The evening was filled with beautiful traditions, incredible details and such lovely energy. Diwali, the festival of lights, is a celebration of new beginnings, hope and the triumph of light over darkness.
But for me, one of the loveliest parts was simply getting to celebrate my friend and watch her have her moment.
A little reminder to celebrate your friends loudly, support their dreams and never underestimate what can happen when an idea becomes something real.
So proud of you, girl. 🤍
